School Council

Over the last couple of days, the school council have run a number of events to raise money for Children in Need 2018. On Thursday, the school staff took part in Doughnut Dangle! We all took part and had many laughs as sugar went everywhere whilst we tried to resist the temptation to use our hands to help us eat the doughnut. The children were excellent supporters and especially with our joint winners, Mrs Gregory and Miss Goodson. Mrs Morris won the most points for messiest performance!

Today, we have all come in dressed as superheroes. The imagination and creativity that has gone into making some of the outfits is fantastic! Mrs Morris never lets us down with her efforts - today we enjoyed her warming blanket used as a cape!

We also have our Bake Off competition. The children have all worked hard over the week to make and decorate a cake or biscuit, not bigger than 10cm diameter. They also had to be homemade, not shop bought. The entries that have come in are AMAZING. Thank you to all parents who have helped to make it possible. It is lovely to see the children look so proud of themselves. We will be announcing the winners in Celebration Assembly this afternoon.

Finally, many thanks to the School council for all their hard work, creativity and dedication to make this day a great success. I look forward to the next event we organise together.
