children feel very much that St Mary the Virgin is their church and are

Friends of Payhembury School --
FOPS is made up of all those parents and carers connected with school
and is organised through a committee made up of parents/carers.
The
committee makes decisions about the events and takes care of the formal
aspects but rely on everyone else to get involved. We are extremely
lucky to have such a great team at Payhembury and all the parents/carers
and children are always willing to get stuck in and help out.
Some of our regular events include the Christmas Fair, May Day Fair,
ice cream sales after school, wild area working days (with lots of yummy
cake) and helping out generally with school as and when we are needed.
Through fundraising events FOPS raise money for fantastic school
trips as well as things like the outdoor shelter, scooters, bike racks,
welly racks, new outdoor play area and much more. We also organise
social events for parents/carers and children throughout the year.
As the school continues to thrive there are more and more people
willing and able to help and in doing so make FOPS a successful and fun
group to be part of.
We look forward to welcoming you to our amazing
school and to FOPs. October Update
